ArtSpots field notes

ArtSpots field notes

This is where I’m spending time thinking out loud about what ArtSpots was – still is – could be. Thinking and talking about how the work of artists impacts on cultural media production (especially those making stuff that moves on screen).

And national history and identity. And digital archives.

And what Korsakow can do: the software, not the alcoholic condition. And the revolutions in how we think, and how we use media (and it uses us): the cycles and the radical changes all together.

It all comes from listening – to the artists involved, the curators engaged, and the audiences touched. Were you?
